88,000 energy efficient, twinkling lights aglow, boutique designer Chalet cedar huts offering local treats, hot drinks & artisan crafts, Ontario's oldest historical cinema playing classic holiday movies, plein-air fire tables to huddle around over a tipple and snack, live music performances, cobblestone high street dining & shopping, and so much more. 

This November 14th 2025, Kat Florence's annual Elora Christmas Market returns for the season, opening Wed-Sun every week through Christmas from 12pm-8pm (located directly beside and behind the hotel along the twinkling lit cobblestone paths). Come peruse our famous, European style chalet market packed with Elora's finest artisan shopping, locally glass blowing decorations, gourmet treats, boutique fashion pieces, plus hot food & drink stations and outdoor heater zones.

Over 150 massive, beautiful trees will decorate the entire Market & town, along with a signature, live rooted 35 foot high Christmas tree in the center of the celebration. Positioned along the Market Chalets are multiple open fire tables with Muskoka style wooden seating to gather round under the lights. Accompanying these are local food & drink stations, and the sounds of holiday song favourites to sing along to. On weekends, Elora Christmas Market hosts live holiday singing & more performances at the main, living Christmas Tree as well as in the main Chalet shopping area (and expect some visits from Santa himself this year; schedule releasing soon!).

The Elora Blazing Tree Growth Project is a celebration of one of Canada’s most cherished natural wonders—the maple tree. Known for its vibrant foliage, the "blazing maple" is a symbol of the country’s rugged beauty and changing seasons. This project is an initiative to preserve and nurture the growth of these iconic trees, ensuring that future generations can experience their breathtaking colors and majesty.

This summer, the Kat Florence Market is home to 20 native Canadian Blazing Maple Trees. On November 1st, each tree will be donated—with full planting and installation—to a home or business in Elora or Fergus.
