From digitized facial recognition entrance access, to designer Phillip Jeffries wallpaper side by side with 1800's original stone, to curbless rain showers with handmade Moroccan zellige clay tile walls, every detail of our individual suites has been thoughtfully & elegantly curated to create distinct, boutique sanctuaries.
Polished suite floors are cool in the summer and heated come snow season. Rooms are custom-kissed with century plus yearold Parisian sketch art. Handblown chandeliers glow above social spaces, all made by Ontario artist friends. Mortise and tenon joint furniture decorates, carved from original beams harvested locally from Elmira. Even the hotel hallway carpets flowing to each suite are custom-designed wool art - a one of a kind piece along the journey.

THE IMPERIAL JADE MANOR
“A different level of exclusive…” - Food Drink Life
Set on an acre of private grounds in Elora, Imperial Jade Manor began its life in the early 1870s as Rosemont Cottage, raised in the Italianate Revival style from limestone quarried close to home - the same stone that has given Elora its character since the mid-nineteenth century. The house later served as Saint Margaret’s All Girl School, its inscription still set into the concrete at the entrance. On the lawn, a tree planted by Pauline M. McGibbon, Ontario’s first female, Lieutenant Governor, has grown for decades in full view of the house; inside, a photograph of the planting, signed by her hand, remains on display.
The manor holds three private suites, each with its own distinct sense of place. A formal dining room and a fully rebuilt, chef-grade kitchen anchor the ground floor, alongside a reading room and a television room designed for unhurried evenings. Wellness is woven through the property - an in-house massage room, an indoor sauna and more. Beyond the house, a sixty-foot swimming pool and pool house complete the grounds, framed by the quiet of Elora itself.
In addition to expected grandiose elements like in-residence spa facilities and a 6-figure custom stone hot bath beneath the stars, the Imperial Jade Manor houses its own, celebrity Private Chef to cater to those staying in residence: Chef Dale Mackay, Canada’s first Top Chef winner, the formerly youngest ever recipient of the Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef designation, former Head Chef for Gordon Ramsey in New York and Japan, former Executive Chef of Daniel Boulud’s Dinex Group and many more.
